The purpose of Lakeland Super Camps is:

• To provide hockey players with the opportunity to showcase their skills to a variety of coaches from the NCAA, WHL, BCHL, AJHL, SJHL, MJHL, USJHL, NAHL, and KIJHL.

• To provide quality hockey players with the opportunity to compete with and against others of comparable skills from various parts of the country.

• To inform and educate players and their parents on the hockey opportunities available to them.

• To have players instructed by a variety of Junior A, College, and professional hockey coaches.

• To provide opportunities for players to attend a variety of selected training camps and work toward playing in the NCAA, Western Hockey League, or numerous Junior A Leagues throughout Canada and the USA.

The 2008 Program

All players will receive:

  1. Four tournament games
  2. Classroom session will be set up so all coaches can be introduced and talk about their program. This is an important and valuable session to get information on U.S.A. and Canadian college entrance requirements
  3. An individual player/coach conference outlining hockey options and development areas to improve upon.
  4. Souvenir hockey jersey.
  5. All participants will have their mailing address circulated to participating coaches from teams and leagues throughout North America. It is hoped that we can help as many players as possible find opportunities to play at a higher level than they are currently playing.

Special features for 2008:

  • Blue versus White All-Star Game at the end of the camp.
  • Two Goaltender sessions.
  • 4 games in 3 days (5 if in All-star game)
  • Each team is coached by our invited coaches who will be involved with each player for the whole weekend.
  • Allstars from camps invited to participate in the Cal Rowan tournament at Langley in July.
